This is a 10-hour introductory silversmith class. Students will learn to develop their designs, use a jeweler’s saw to cut out a pattern, solder a bezel to a backing plate, and add a bail or a ring shank, creating a wearable piece of jewelry. Intermediate students can work on a project of their choosing with instructor approval. At the completion of this introduction, the student can continue to hone their skills in the Thursday night Silversmith Workshop.

Materials: Materials fees will be collected separately during class.
Restrictions:
• No other lapidary or faceting work.
• Limited to FIVE Students.
