Introduction to Faceting

Learn to cut your first round brilliant gemstone from rough, during a weekend-long class! Bring your own 10x loupe. You may bring your own rough stone, however rough material suitable for beginners will be provided. A faceting machine will be loaned. Each class can accommodate three new students without machines and three returning students with their own machines.

Cost: $50 per day. Club membership required.

Dates & times: Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, offered one weekend per month.

Advanced Faceting

After cutting your first several round stones, you are ready to cut a fancy shape or a step cut stone. Instructor will assist students in selecting a pattern of their choice and cutting it.

Cost: $50 per day. Club membership required.
