Classes

The Palomar Gem & Mineral Club offers its members a range of classes and workshops in lapidary and jewelry arts, as well as mineralogy.  Classes change from month to month, depending upon the time of year and the availability of instructors.  Our teachers as well as some of our students’ work often win prizes of excellence at the San Diego County Fair.

All classes and workshops are held at our Club Workshop.

Schedule
• Classes are scheduled month to month.
• Workshops are standard week to week throughout the year, with the exception of August, when our lapidary workshop closes for the month.  Usually during that time, we offer specialized week-long classes bringing in outside teachers from all over the country. 

Workshop Fees
$10.00 use fee per member, per session.

• From CA-78, exit on Nordahl Road and head south;
• Turn west (right) on to West Mission Road, then turn north (right) into the driveway just past the gas station.
• The Club Workshop is at the end of the parking lot.
